July 1, 2023 Retiree Out of Province Coverage Update:
- Effective July 1st, Sun Life Global Excel Management (GEM) replaces Allianz Global Assistance as the new provider for Retiree Out of Province Coverage. If you’ll be travelling outside of Ontario, it’s a good idea to have your travel card with you as it includes the telephone numbers to call in the event of a medical emergency. On or after July 1st, you can download the new travel card on mysunlife.ca or the my Sun Life mobile app and it is also available on the HR website. The telephone numbers to call for Emergency Travel Assistance are not changing. For 24/7 assistance, call:
