2025 Tax Information

Distribution of 2025 Tax Slips (T4/T4A)
The distribution of 2025 tax slips will be completed on or before February 28, 2026.
All tax slips including T4 and T4A slips, will be provided in electronic format through Mosaic > Employee Self-Service. Employees will receive a notification when their tax slips are available to view in Mosaic.
A User Guide is available for more information on how to access and print your T4 and/or T4A slip(s).
T2200 – Declaration of Conditions of Employment Form
The process for the T2200 – Declaration of Conditions of Employment form remains unchanged from last year. Employees who require a T2200 form for the 2025 tax year can find further information in the following job aid.
Personal Information Updates
Employees are reminded to ensure that their personal information in Mosaic is up to date. This includes your home address, Social Insurance Number (and expiry date, if applicable), and any required work or study permits.
2025 Tax Slips for Group RRSP Contributions
Desjardins, the administrator for McMaster University’s Group RRSP funds, issued tax receipts on January 19, 2026, for contributions made in 2025 (excluding the first 60 days in 2025).
For contributions made within the first 60 days of 2026, a separate tax receipt will be issued by Desjardins in mid-March.
You can access your tax documents via Desjardins’ website (under My statements and documents > Tax slips and receipts). More information on your GRRSP plan can be found on the HR website.
