January 2020: Mosaic Rapid Release
Goal: Streamline the Mass Download of applicant documents
What has changed?
Wouldn’t it be nice to download all of your applicants’ documents in one fell swoop? The limit of applicants which may be included per mass download has just been increased from 25 to 75 individuals (and their respective documents), saving valuable time in your search for an ideal candidate to fit your needs.
This has been one of our top requests from Recruiting and Hiring Managers!
Goal: Provide central HR with a means to audit, validate, and better manage employee data in Mosaic
What has changed?
Previously, UTS had to update the employee attributes matrix in mosaic when there were changes. We have now had a front-end page built in MOSAIC for APSS to update and maintain the matrix. MOSAIC will now be the data source for the matrix so HR Ops & FHS HR always have the most up to date version. We plan to embed the matrix within HR navigation collections and create rules based off the matrix.
Future capabilities are expected to springboard off this Matrix: auditing and reporting, standardization of setup; and eventual automation of repetitive data entry tasks. Stay tuned!
Goal: Capture ALL the files selected for Mass Download of Applicant Documents
What has changed?
Hiring Managers will be able to download ALL their applicants and associated files, even when they have initially been attached with Special Characters in the folder or filenames, so they will no longer potentially miss out on reviewing a viable applicant or an important document during their search for the ideal candidate.
Instead of skipping documents with filenames including Special Characters altogether, Mosaic will now drop the special character from the folder or filename. (e.g.: Chloé would become Chlo)
Goal: Simplify entering large volumes of AP Manual Payments:
What has changed?
Useful links have been added to both the Manual Payments and the Update Payment Worksheet pages to streamline the entry for multiple items. High volume users will no longer have to re-navigate to these pages to make additional entries. Quite a time saver for some!
Using the double-chevron (<<) icon in the top right corner of your screen is the quickest way to open and close Related Content.
