November 2020: Mosaic Rapid Release
Goal: Ensure Mosaic student timetable synced to Google Calendar appears in correct time zone
What has changed?
Since so many of our students are now studying from home, around the world, it is now essential that the student’s timetable appears in the correct time zone in Google Calendar.
Taking time zones into consideration is just one more COVID-19 lesson learned.
Goal: PeopleSoft Image 18 Update for Campus Solutions
What has changed?
Time to perform some Get Current updates to the latest available PeopleSoft Image for each stream. First up is Campus Solutions. We will follow with similar upgrades in each of our streams as business priorities allow.
Staying as current as possible with PeopleTools and Images greatly enhances our ability to adopt new functionality whenever we wish to.
Goal: Expansion of HR Strategic Reporting Hub
What has changed?
Based on great feedback from end users, the HR Strategic Reporting Hub has been expanded to include new and existing reports and queries.
Two new sections have been added, and several existing sections have had added resources included, and their layout updated for ease of use.
Goal: Remove unwanted fields for Journal Entries
What has changed?
The Create/Update Journal Entries tool has been updated to remove fields and tabs that are not currently used.
A combination of Page and Field Configuration and Event Mapping were used here.
Goal: HR Reporting Hub expansion – Oct 2020
What has changed?
The Reporting & Metrics team has completed updates to a report which has formerly been requested each quarter by the School of Graduate Studies.
The School of Graduate Studies is now able to access and run their report themselves, whenever needed.
Goal: Streamline the Voucher approval experience
What has changed?
Voucher approvers will now be taken directly to the correct ‘Line Approval’ tab (renamed for clarity) when clicking on an approval link. Additionally, we enabled displaying all lines on a single page, and have provided access to attachments from the Line Approver tab.
Line approvers will be routed to the Line tab first; and the Header Approval tab is now hidden to avoid confusion for approvers.
Goal: Provide a self-service audit of Timesheet Upload results
What has changed?
The Reporting & Metrics team has developed an audit report in support of the new timesheet upload process.
Time Reporting Managers will be able to access this new Report on the HR Reporting Hub.
