You’re Invited to Participate: Virtual Job Shadow Program
Help guide the next generation of leaders with the McMaster Virtual Job Shadow Program
October 18 – November 19, 2021
When it comes to learning about an industry, position or work environment, nothing beats an insider’s perspective. Help educate tomorrow’s leaders by participating in the Virtual Job Shadow Program. The aim is to provide McMaster students and alumni with an opportunity to virtually shadow an industry leader and explore a “day in the life” of a particular career.
Why Participate?
- Connect with emerging student talent
- Develop leadership skills by sharing your knowledge and experiences
- Gain personal satisfaction by helping to guide the next generation of leaders
- Contribute to students’ and alumni’s professional growth
How It Works
As a host, you’ll provide a virtual learning opportunity for a McMaster student. Hosting is a commitment of three–five hours per day over a one- or two-day period. You can host the student anytime during October 18–November 19.
Students apply to specific job shadow opportunities. Then, you get to select your preferred applicants from a short list.
