Accounting and Financial Reporting supports the University’s internal and external financial and accounting requirements. This includes the timely and accurate reporting of year-end financial statements, internal and external audits, and government reporting and tax filings. The unit ensures compliance with University policies, government regulations, contract and donor agreements, internal controls, and generally accepted accounting principles.
Strategic Procurement provides support to purchasers across the University, and works toward continuous improvement of the purchasing process. The unit assists purchasers in obtaining the best value for their money while operating in accordance with all purchasing-related guidelines and regulations.
Financial Systems and Supports provides production support and maintenance for the Mosaic financial modules, financial report development and maintenance, co-ordination of the University’s year end and audited financial statements and other external financial reporting.
Budgeting Services provides support for the University budget process. The office acts as a resource to budget units and provides guidance and assistance to these units in planning, implementing, monitoring and control.
Financial Affairs provides financial leadership serving the University with strategic performance oversight, financial outlook analysis, and reporting. The unit manages the University’s financial internal control environment, including regulatory compliance.
Student Accounts and Cashiers helps students financially manage their accounts. They provide information to students about paying their tuition, various scholarships and bursaries available to them, OSAP assistance, and other important information pertaining to their finances.
Accounts Payable and Reimbursements is responsible for timely and accurate payment of all non-payroll disbursements. This includes supplier invoices, travel reimbursements, T4A/T4ANR and Non-PO vouches and other miscellaneous payments.
Treasury Operations delivers a full spectrum of treasury services including investment management, liquidity management, pension management, financial analysis, compliance monitoring, reporting, and capital financing to meet the daily needs of the University.
