Program Information
Human Resources Services is pleased to bring this program to the McMaster community as a supplement to our award-winning internal leadership development programs. Dare to Lead™ is the ultimate playbook for developing brave leaders and courageous cultures. The program is centered on a collection of four courage skill sets and participants will spend time learning and practicing through brave work, tough conversations, and showing up with our whole hearts.
This four-part workshop is designed to teach the research-based skill sets of courage as the foundation to becoming a braver, more daring leader.
At the end of the program, you will be able to:
- Embrace vulnerability by helping your team feel safe to take risks and by showing up courageously, even when you’re not sure how things will turn out.
- Identify your core values and learn ways to live them by getting clear on what matters most to you and using those values to consistently guide your choices.
- Build trust by practicing the seven BRAVING elements so your teams feel connected and supported.
