Join Wellness Works Canada during Mental Health Awareness Week for a lively Fireside chat with some of Canada’s most influential Workplace Mental Health Advocates.
Mental health stigma prevents many people from seeking the help they need, often due to fear, misunderstanding, or shame. One of the most effective ways to break down this stigma is through honest storytelling—sharing personal experiences in a way that fosters understanding, connection, and support.
This Fireside chat will empower participants to share their own personal stories around mental health as a tool for change, helping create a culture where open conversations about mental health are encouraged, and more people feel safe seeking help sooner. Come here stories that have impacted others positively from Mental Health trainers over the years and also personal stories that will encourage you on your own journey. Stories can help to shift perspectives, build empathy and trust and reduce fear and inspire action. We will discuss how having open conversations around mental health and wellbeing will encourage others to feel a sense of belonging and acceptance and hope.
