This is a virtual Thrive Week event hosted by MacMindfulness.
Creative activities can help us improve our focus and concentration, offering similar benefits to a seated guided meditation. In this session, we will explore how to find mindfulness moments in our everyday lives.
In advance of the session:
Please think about something you’d like to draw and have a picture of it handy on your phone. It could be a picture of yourself, a friend, a pet, a tree, or an object such as a cup or vase. This is a fun exercise that focuses on being in the moment, not on your art skills, so don’t worry too much about what you choose!
No special materials are required, but please have some paper and markers ready.
This course will take place online and is open to all McMaster employees.
