Spring 2026 Volunteer Opportunities Now Open for McMaster Employees

McMaster employees are invited to get involved in Spring 2026 volunteer opportunities, that strengthen connection, collaboration, and community across campus.
Through the Community Engagement program, McMaster connects employees with volunteer opportunities designed to support personal and professional growth, foster cross‑campus networks, and mobilize collaborative, community‑driven initiatives.
This year, employees can apply to join the following committees:
- Healthy Workplace Committee
- McMaster Children’s Party
- United Way Campaign
Employees who contribute their time to these committees gain opportunities to develop transferable skills such as project management, public speaking, leadership, and creative problem‑solving, while working alongside colleagues from diverse departments across the University. Volunteering also supports social well‑being by creating opportunities for meaningful connection and shared purpose.
How to apply
Employees interested in volunteering can apply through the online application form available on the Community Engagement site
Information about each committee is provided to help applicants find the opportunity that best aligns with their interests and strengths.
Applicants requiring accommodations throughout the recruitment process are encouraged to reach out to the program coordinator for assistance.
