May Newsletter Now Available – Children and Youth Mental Health
Homewood Health, McMaster’s Employee and Family Assistance Provider, (EFAP) is pleased to release the May 2021 edition of the Life Lines newsletter, “Children and Youth Mental Health”.
In this article, Homewood Health explores a wide range of contributing factors that parents and caregivers should be aware of, and possible reasons as to why children and youth are having difficulty coping with life stressors. They also look at the effects that the COVID-19 pandemic is having and share some suggestions on how you can contribute to building their confidence and resilience and establish boundaries that can reduce stress and promote positive mental, emotional and physical health and wellness practices.
