Hiring managers are responsible for coordinating interviews, but in general, first screening interviews are usually held by phone. In alignment with social distancing protocols, we are recommending that follow-up interviews be held virtually (i.e. video conference), and you would be advised of the related details by the hiring manager.
If you are sick on the day of your interview, please contact the hiring manager to reschedule.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, work from home is highly encouraged for positions with duties that can be accomplished remotely. Certain positions are considered to be essential and will require you to be on campus. From patient care and research to hospitality workers and custodial staff, our greater community is counting on McMaster staff to provide continued on-site expertise and service.
