Goal: Provide a new Vacation Balance Report including Hourly Rate and costing estimate
What has Changed: Users in multiple departments provided feedback that the existing fields in the current vacation balance report are all required, but that additional columns displaying (a) the current Hourly Rate from Job Data, plus (b) the current hourly rate multiplied by the hours in the bank, would reduce repetitive manual administrative steps.
Anything Else I Need to Know: A new version of the custom Vacation Balance report was created in response! This report can be accessed under: Manager Self Service > View Time > Absence Balances > Vacation Balance – Hourly Rate.
Goal: Expand an existing report to include an additional collective bargaining group
What has Changed: Administrators, Finance Managers, Administrative Managers responsible for SEIU Hospitality employees will now be able to view their data on the Vacation Balance Report.
Anything Else I Need to Know: This report update has been made due to recent changes to a Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Goal: Clarify the Balance Accruals language on the Vacation Balance Report
What has Changed: Based on some great feedback from our end users, we have modified the wording on the Vacation Balance Report to read, “The Vacation Accrual Balance is forecasted to the end of the month”.
Anything Else I Need to Know: We love receiving feedback on how we can make the system work better for you!
Goal: Integrate Data Cookbook with an existing Navigation Collection
What has Changed: We have integrated Data Cookbook information with the much-used HR Strategic Reporting Hub. 147 reports and queries in the navigation collection have been reconfigured to display Data Cookbook information on the same page where the Query or Report is run – so convenient!
Anything Else I Need to Know: This integration gives users valuable information about the individual queries and reports in the HR Strategic Reporting Hub right where they need it most!
Goal: Integrate Data Cookbook with GT eForms – a Mosaic First!
What has Changed: Now users of the SPP eForms will see Data Cookbook information at the top of the page when accessing six (6) of the queries directly from the eForms navigation collection!
Anything Else I Need to Know: Plans are in place to ensure remaining queries also receive the same treatment in the very near future. Stay tuned!
Goal: Make Provincial Attestation Letters available via Mosaic
What has Changed: PDF Letters of Attestation (PALs) which are received in a batch from OUAC are now available to applicants directly in Mosaic!
Anything Else I Need to Know: This was part of the requirements for the Federal Visa Cap, and was quickly prioritized and completed once the final regulatory requirements were posted.
Goal: Improve efficiency for employees and Managers supporting T2200 form requests for 2023 T4s
What has Changed: A new query was created to enable employees to run a historical list of all of their expense reimbursements over the course of the calendar year to aid them in completing T2200 forms.
Anything Else I Need to Know: The ‘My Expense Report Details’ Tile and query were made available within Travel and Expenses, which is accessed from a tile on the Employee Self Service homepage.
Goal: Improve efficiency for admin tasks of SPP eForms
What has Changed: Add One-Time or Ongoing Field to Approve Task Search Results for Single & Multi SPP request eForms.
Anything Else I Need to Know: This change will aid approvers in knowing if the form requires write or upload to system.
