Employee Self Service in Mosaic for Teaching Assistants (TAs)

Get ready for the upcoming summer launch of the enhanced Employee Self Service portal in Mosaic – a convenient way for TAs, RAs in-Lieu and graduate students receiving Research Scholarship payments to submit and update their payroll information.  

Starting in the 2024/2025 academic year, TAs,RAs in-Lieu and graduate students receiving Research Scholarship payments must submit their payroll information via the online Employee Self Service portal in Mosaic to receive payment.   

After receiving notification from Human Resources through their McMaster email, the individual will be required to visit the Employee Self Service portal to:  

  • Securely input or validate personal information such as SIN, name, address, and emergency contacts. 
  • Seamlessly submit banking details for direct deposit payroll payments.   
  • Complete and submit tax forms including TD1 Federal and TD1-Ontario (CUPE Unit 1 employees only).  
  • Submit the Freedom of Information and Collection of Personal Information (COPI) form.  
  • Readily access personal details and payroll dashboard.  
  • And more!
