Goal: Enable Trust Fund Administrators to ensure correct accounting
What’s changed: We have provided a public query on the Financial Reporting Hub which allows trust fund administrators to monitor the activity throughout the year and avoid time consuming corrections later on that could result in incorrect reporting if not fixed.
Anything else I need to know: Validation of correct accounting was previously managed centrally by the Trust Fund Analyst.
Goal: Communicate news to Mosaic users
What’s changed: We have launched the new the HR Announcement tile to the Mosaic homepage to display short Finance and Mosaic communication notices to users!
Anything else I need to know: The Announcement tile replaces some functionality and adding improvements to the user experience over the previous Mosaic News tile, which disappeared with the replacement of Interaction Hub.
Goal: Expansion of HR Strategic Reporting Hub
What’s changed: Based on great feedback from end users, eight (8) new reports have been added, aimed at improving efficiency within Human Resources Services. One exciting addition is a report which supports a self-service process for creating email distribution lists (EDL’s) based on position security profiles!
Anything else I need to know: Other reports support HR Services in the following areas: four reports regarding daily auditing of pension data; one supporting organizational programs for active people managers; one for job openings and job postings; and the final report enables auditing all SPP HR eForm types (ie. multi, single, stop/modify).
Goal: Add Interview Experience Posting Template in Recruitment Module
What’s changed: Created new messaging template for Job Postings to describe potential interview experiences to help manage applicant/candidate expectations.
Goal: Expand Advertisement Listing Options in Recruitment Module
What’s changed: We have institutional partnerships with certain organizations, which allow Jobs posted on Mosaic to be auto-fed into these external job boards, to ensure we are reaching a diverse pool of applicants.
Anything else I need to know: In order to start measuring how many Mosaic applications can be tracked backed to each external job board, we have added additional identifiers (sources) in the recruitment module.
Goal: Provide more timely changes to security for employees
What’s changed:The security job which provides employees with their access in Mosaic HR will now run five times per day (9 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm and 5 pm), up from the previous three times per day.
Anything else I need to know: Employees will gain their expected Mosaic access much sooner, after a change has been entered in the system!
Goal: Highlight data management best practices on two navigation collections
What’s changed: Based on great feedback from end users, the landing pages in the HR Reporting Hub and the HR Strategic Reporting Hub have been modified to include data governance resources, aimed at promoting data management best practices and enhancing HR data literacy.
Anything else I need to know: New links to McMaster’s Data and Information Classification Policy and to the Data Cookbook have been added to the landing pages of both navigation collections.
