November is Canada Career Month, and we will be celebrating here at McMaster with a series of workshops to help you manage your career.
Managing your career is not an option these days – it’s a necessity, especially in a dynamic and changing workplace. Career management requires specific skills and activities applicable to all career-life stages. Simply put, you need to take a proactive approach by answering the following questions: Who am I? What do I want? and How do I get there? These insights will help you map the best route for the future.
Please join us for one, two or all three sessions to learn how knowing yourself is key to managing and building your career. Feel free to bring your lunch.
Session 3: This session will take you through important planning skills and activities: leveraging self-awareness, conducting purposeful research, exploring and deciding on options. Discover how these activities lead to engaging career conversations that will propel your career development. Facilitator: Sonia Hawrylyshyn, Manager Employee Career Services
