Whether you want to have a group to walk with and keep you accountable, are looking to progress from walking to running but aren’t sure where to start, or are a seasoned runner looking to find some running buddies, you have a place in the Healthy Workplace Run Club. The club will meet every Thursday at 12:10 p.m. in front of the Ivor Wynne Centre starting October 3rd, and will walk and run outdoors in and around campus. You can sign up for one of three groups to start – the walking group, the walk-to-run group, or the running group – but can switch groups later if you’d like. All club members will have access to David Braley Athletic Centre change rooms. Everyone will receive a list of walking and running routes starting from McMaster, and walk-to-run and running training plans will be available.
