The Healthy Workplace committee is pleased to offer weekly Tai Chi classes on Wednesdays in December. Held over Zoom, participants will will explore and participate in Tai Chi, which has has evolved into an aerobic mind-body fitness exercise of physical movements paced by slow diaphragmatic (abdominal) breathing. Tai Chi’s breath-coordinated movements, dynamic balance & weight-shifting transitions imbue a
sensorium of “mindfulness-in-motion.”
The 8 forms of modified Tai Chi that will be used are heaven and earth, repulsing the monkey, green dragon, lady working at the shuttle, plucking the needle, fan through the back, cross hands, and closing form. No experience is required!
