In partnership with McMaster’s Centre for Continuing Education and Hoame Meditation Studio, we are pleased to offer this free mindfulness course.
Mindfulness is the art and the practice of being in the “here and now”. A lack of present awareness can negatively affect our mental, physical and emotional well-being. The practice of mindfulness is correlated with a whole host of scientifically proven benefits, from stress reduction to overall improved life satisfaction. Most importantly in times of uncertainty and upset – the practice of mindfulness can be a stabilizing force. This one hour webinar explores the practice of mindfulness, the benefits, and will provide you with a few key techniques and strategies. You will also engage in a short mindful practice.
