Does your department do anything special during lunch or throughout the workday? Do you take meetings outside? Walk with your group at lunch or communally bike to work? We want to know! Send a message to healthyworkplace@mcmaster.ca with a photo to be featured in our next newsletter!
Main Campus
- Take advantage of all of the beautiful green space available on our grounds; go alone or grab a friend, and stroll around Cootes Paradise to clear your mind.
- Take advantage of the David Braley Athletic Centre. Fitness classes, the pool, the outdoor track and fitness equipment – there’s so much to do before work, after work and on lunch.
- Have you noticed the mobile libraries located at various points around campus? Grab a book and find some shade under the trees on BSB Field.
- Did you know you can rent sports equipment from Mills Library? Borrow a Frisbee or ball, and head outside with some co-workers at lunch.
- Visit the Biology Greenhouse and leave feeling inspired, refreshed and with a greater appreciation for plants that make human habitation possible on planet Earth.
