Join Rachael Byrne, Occupational Health Nurse on May 7, 2024 between 12pm and 1pm to learn an ‘in-the-moment’ self-help stress reduction technique called Tapping/EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). Dr. Peta Stapleton, EFT researcher at Bond University, Australia explains EFT this way: EFT – stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques – widely known as tapping.
It is a self-help – stress reduction tool that can be used to reduce stress or the emotional intensity of a memory, situation or event and bring it toward neutral. EFT combines a focus on the feelings of stress or the situation causing the stress, while tapping gently with your fingers on a series of acupoints on the face and upper body. The acupoints are based on the system of acupuncture, but without the needles!
This webinar is intended to promote awareness of the benefits of learning and applying EFT. The material provided is for your general knowledge only and is not a substitute for traditional medical attention, counseling, therapy, or advice from a qualified health-care professional.
