Sustainable living is a lifestyle that seeks to minimize an individual’s footprint by reducing the use of resources. Through an assessment of food and dietary practices, energy consumption, methods of transportation, water consumption, product purchasing, and usage patterns, as well as waste management, individuals can learn to consume and live responsibly. This webinar is designed for parents and their children.
This workshop will be structured around discussions, personal reflections and assessments, as well as comparative analysis enabling participants to both individually and collaboratively discuss and design their sustainable lifestyles. Participants will receive a planning sheet and a set of playing cards (PDFs) to use at home with children/grandchildren including activities to better design your life and your world for sustainable living.
