March 2020: Mosaic Rapid Release
Goal: Provide Better Clarity on Who Employees With Direct Deposit Changes Can Contact
What has changed?
We’ve expanded the contact information displayed on the employee-facing direct deposit (review) page, and included email and phone extensions for both the HR Service Centre and the Faculty of Health Science HR office.
Giving employees the information they need, right where they need it most.
Goal: Ensure Employees Are Given Health and Safety Training Relevant to Their Job
What has changed?
An external resource for identifying the Health & Safety Training requirements per Job has been re-created within Mosaic. The results: streamlined business process, access to real-time data, and increased data security, all while ensuring each employee is given access to the Health and Safety training they need.
As data security is high on our priority list, this Rapid Release item went into production once it was ready.
Goal: Enhance Self Service Access for Employees (Phase I)
What has changed?
We enabled ‘Pay’ and ‘Opt in for Electronic T4/T4A Slips’ Tiles on the Employee Self Service (ESS) homepage (previously only accessed from Mosaic Home). The ESS homepage is our hub for reviewing Pay, Tax Slips, Benefits, and Personal Details, as well as for Reporting Time and Absences, and Travel and Expense Claims
This is the first of a series of steps aimed at improving the overall ESS experience. Due to the timely need for employees to access their tax slips, this item went to production as soon as it was completed.
