Mosaic Rapid Release: August 2023

Goal: Enhance an AR query to provide better reporting
What has Changed: Additional details and prompts have been added to the AR ITEM DETAILS query to be used for several different analysis purposes and review of important aging details.
Anything Else I Need to Know: Transaction details can be further accessed directly from the query, using drill-down links.
Goal: Modify the Presto Voucher Assignment & Load
What has Changed: Beginning in 2023-24, different Presto vouchers will be issued for different concessions (i.e. durations). Vouchers are now loaded with an attribute for the concession duration.
Anything Else I Need to Know: When vouchers are assigned to students who have been charged for a bus pass, the appropriate concession is chosen, based on the fee that was charged to the student.
Goal: Update the Transit Voucher Summary Page
What has Changed: Beginning in 2023-24, different Presto vouchers will be issued for different concessions (i.e. durations).
Anything Else I Need to Know: Page used by administrators was updated to include the concession duration in the voucher details for given student.
Goal: Resolve an issue with the Department Payroll Register report
What has Changed: End users identified they were unable to run the HR report to success for a particular pay period. A data anomaly was quickly identified and a script was run to correct the problem.
Anything Else I Need to Know: We value feedback from our McMaster community when something is not working as intended!
Goal: Assist Human Resources Services to improve efficiency using the HR Strategic Reporting Hub
What has Changed: Based on great feedback from end users, two (2) new reports have been added to this popular navigation collection.
Anything Else I Need to Know: One report allows the HR Operations team to proactively audit employees on leave of absence. A second report enables the Employment Equity team to more efficiently administer SPS-A1 security access.
Goal: Export ‘Accepted Elsewhere’ data from Mosaic to SLATE
What has Changed: Automated query to export data on applicants who have accepted other applications to flow from Mosaic to SLATE
Goal: Facilitate the feed of Academic Agent Data from Mosaic to SLATE
What has Changed: Automated query to export and send academic agent data from Mosaic to SLATE.
Goal: Expand the revoked applicants information fed from Mosaic to SLATE
What has Changed: Automated query to export applicants’ revoke code and reason from Mosaic to SLATE.
Goal: Fix an issue with the Cost Centre Register by ID report
What has Changed: End users were suddenly unable to run a report to success on the HR Reporting Hub. A data anomaly was identified in HR which was resolved quickly using delivered processes.
Anything Else I Need to Know: This unusual instance required some quick collaboration between several groups to resolve.
Goal: Automate approval process for unclaimed bank payments
What has Changed: To support a new improved process for users to claim bank payments that belong to their departments, we implemented a new workflow rule for our AR staff to monitor the claims
Goal: Allow additional users to access the new Retiree Email report
What has Changed: Additional users are now grated access to the new Retiree Email report that was released as part of the July MRR.
Goal: Enable the deferral tile to be accessed from a mobile device
What has Changed: The “Defer My Admission to McMaster” tile is now available from a small form factor device, such as a mobile Device
