Goal: Fine-tune the Form Type search on the External Tuition Bursary Form
What has changed: Fix put in place to address the issue on the External Tuition Bursary search pages where the ‘Form Type’ lookup is erroneously producing all HR eForms on the Edit and View tabs.
Anything Else I Need to Know: The options should be limited to just F1 and F2 within the External Tuition Bursary form family.
Goal: Make two additional queries available in our Financial Reporting Hub
What has changed: We’ve moved two handy One-Time Suppliers queries to a more central location so more users can find them.
Anything Else I Need to Know: The ‘SGLP Vouchers by Supplier Name’ and ‘SGLP Voucher List by Preparer’ are now available in the AP / T&E Queries on the Financial Reporting Hub.
Goal: Resolve a pain point in Travel and Expense
What has changed: After enabling US EFT payments in Finance, occasional issues were encountered in Travel and Expense. Manual workaround was possible, but was both inefficient and frustrating for the folks in Accounts Payable.
The source of the issue was identified and a cleanup was done on one field of the Direct Deposit table in both HR and Finance.
Anything Else I Need to Know: Sometimes, when we turn on additional functionality, we find a need to clean up historical records, and this case was no different.
A quick script in both HR and Finance, followed by running an existing data load program in Finance did the trick!
Goal: Update the supplier set up form to reflect a change in process
What has changed: In response to a change in process for setting up Suppliers from outside of Canada, an update to the supplier set up form was completed to reflect the new policy and eliminate confusion.
Goal: Adjust a query prompt to optional instead of required
What has Changed: The Acad_Plan prompt on the Graduate Student Enrolment Report in Campus Center has been modified to accomodate for programs which have multiple plans, to enable all plans to be shown at once.
Anything Else I Need to Know: Users will no longer have to run multiple times to show the full results for a single program!
Goal: Resolve an issue with Students being locked out of Mosaic in error
What has changed: We fine-tuned our Security automation to ensure students who are also past employees were no longer being locked out of Mosaic in error.
Anything Else I Need to Know: We have changed a manual workaround to an automated one, which is much more efficient!
Goal: Provide a way to easily identify incorrect field data
What has changed: Queries have been created in both HR and Finance to to detect any country code data anomalies in Direct Deposit records.
Anything Else I Need to Know: These queries are helpful in pinpointing any records needing to be updated.
Goal: Expand the Additional Pay Reason Code List
What has changed: Six new Additional Pay payment reasons were created to support more granular reporting of stipend payments for Faculty of Health Sciences.

– Stipend – Assistant Dean
– Stipend – Associate Dean
– Stipend – Director Ctr or Inst
– Stipend – Executive Vice Dean
– Stipend – Change in Rank
– Stipend – Vice Dean”
Goal: Provide two new reports in the HR Reporting Hub
What has changed: Select users were provided with access to the new ‘Rejected Time by Date Range’ report under ‘Review Time and Exceptions’ folder, and to the new’Retiree Email Listing Report’ under the ‘Job and Employee Info’ Folder. We will roll out access to these two reports to additional users shortly – stay tuned!
Anything Else I Need to Know: These reports will help streamline team processes as well as assist with identifing and resolve rejected time scenarios.
Goal: Help users view the number of students who are on the waitlist for MBA courses
What has changed: Students in MBA are now able to add themselves to a waitlist if the course enrolment has reached capacity, so the Waitlist Total has been added to the ‘Class Timetable Report’.
Anything Else I Need to Know: The report can be accessed in Campus Solutions, Curriculum Management, Course & Schedule Queries.
Goal: Automate the running of a query for MCE courses
What has changed: This query now runs three times per day, giving MCE access to regularly updated results.
Anything Else I Need to Know: This query provides visibility of available courses on the MCE website.
Goal: Provide the School of Graduate Studies access to service indicators
What has changed: A new query was added to the Graduate tab of the Campus Centre to give SGS quick access service indicators information.
Anything Else I Need to Know: Staff in SGS can now access the ‘SGS 101 and 201 Query’ directly in Campus Center.
Goal: Streamline security set up for research staff
What has changed: We have automated the security/user preference setup for central office research staff.
Anything Else I Need to Know: This automation replaces many manual steps that were required and often slowed down the onboarding process for new staff.
Goal: Improve accuracy in data retrieved by a query
What has changed: We added a new field to a custom view for an extract query to retrieve more accurate results!
Anything Else I Need to Know: This query extracts data that is used on the MCE website.
