Register Now: Take Our Kids to Work Day

Take Our Kids to Work Day is a national program of The Student Commission of Canada that has been in existence since 1994. McMaster University proudly participates in this initiative, allowing our community to contribute to the career development of our youth. This one-day job shadowing experience gives Grade 9 students the chance to connect what they learn in school with real-life workplace experiences right here at McMaster.

CIBC Hall, McMaster University Student Centre

McMaster is excited to once again welcome grade 9 students to shadow McMaster employees as part of Take Our Kids to Work Day! This is a great opportunity for students to develop new skills and experience a variety of career opportunities here at McMaster. In addition to shadowing with your grade 9 student, Human Resources Services has provided morning programming from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m.

The agenda for the day is as follows

7:30 a.m. Drop off at CIBC Hall, Breakfast available

8 a.m. Welcome remarks

8:15 a.m. Morning Keynote

9 a.m. Campus Tour

10 a.m. Pick up from CIBC Hall
