Pulse at Pace

March 4- April 24, 2024 

Sponsored by Athletics & Recreation and Sun Life Financial, Pulse at PACE is a pilot project to help McMaster faculty and staff get active. This is a pilot project running on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Employees must register in advance for a time slot in order to attend.

The Physical Activity Centre for Excellence is located on the second floor of the Ivor Wynne Centre. Full directions on how to access will be provided to those who have registered in the new year.

The Pulse at PACE program is open between March 4- April 24, 2024, on the following days of the week:

Mondays, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Wednesdays, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Employees can register for one-hour timeslots. Should they wish to participate for more than one hour on Fridays, they are welcome to do so by registering for multiple times.

Employees must pre-register for a workout time slot. There is no limit to the number of timeslots an employee registers for. If you have to cancel, we kindly ask you do so as soon as possible to open up the timeslot for another person.

The Pulse at PACE program is entirely free of charge to all employees, and is generously sponsored by Athletics & Recreation, as well as Sun Life Financial, McMaster’s benefits provider.

The Pulse at PACE program is open to all full and part-time employees. Employees are asked to register in advance and provide their employee ID card to the front desk staff prior to beginning their workout.

McMaster Pulse employees will be available during all timeslots to answer any questions employees may have about equipment, exercises, etc. There will also be additional staff present to sign employees in.

All employees participating in the Pulse at PACE program will have access to change facilities located on the first floor of the Ivor Wynne Centre. While lockers are available, employees must provide their own lock, and are responsible for their own possessions.
