Apply now to join McMaster’s spring Knowledge Leaders Program!

Applications are open for McMaster’s spring cohort of the Knowledge Leaders Programs. This program will help you build your leadership capabilities and expand your McMaster network. McMaster University is focused on cultivating human potential, leveraging the diverse talents of employees, and recognizing that everyone is a leader in their own role.  Apply today to begin your leadership development training this spring! Visit the program website for application instructions and program information. Space is limited. Applications will close April 29 or once the program reaches capacity.

Dates/Time (4 Zoom sessions and 1 in-person session*):

  1. Thursday, May 2, 12:30 – 4:00 pm
  2. Thursday, May 16, 12:30 – 4:00 pm
  3. Thursday, May 30, 9:00 am – 12:30 pm
  4. Thursday, June 13, 9:00 am – 12:30 pm
  5. Thursday, June 27, 9: 00 am – 3:00 pm*

This program consists of approximately 30 hours of content consisting of live Zoom sessions and independent learning via Avenue to Learn.

*Note: the final session, June 27, will be delivered in-person at One James North, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.  Details will be confirmed closer to the session date.

  • Who should take this program: McMaster employees* who are operational team supervisors, or individual contributors, professionals or subject matter experts who regularly collaborate with or lead project teams, committees or work groups, and may supervise students.
  • Key Topics: Problem solving, decision making, setting and meeting goals & objectives, key persons analysis, delegating, coaching, planning & leading meetings, managing change, and more!

*McMaster employees on a part-time or full-time continuing or contractually limited appointment of at least 1 year.
