At McMaster University we are committed to providing mental health and well-being education and training to the McMaster community to support mental health literacy, and help individuals lead healthier lives in and outside of the workplace.
As part of this ongoing commitment, the University is offering Mental Health First Aid training to help faculty and staff recognize individuals in distress, provide help and support positive mental health.
There are no scheduled training sessions for Mental Health First Aid for the foreseeable future. We are reviewing our options for offering new mental health training to our community and further information will be communicated in 2023. Mental Health First Aid training continues to be available through the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
