Campus Insurance

Health, Safety Risk Management purchases insurance and manages claims for the University, with the exception of employee benefit insurance which is managed through Human Resources, and student benefit insurance which is managed through the Students’ Union and the Graduate Student Association.

NOTE: Per the University Operations & Administration mission, the Human Resources & Enterprise Risk Departments are collaborating efforts to integrate and adopt best practice solutions. Therefore, effective December 1st, 2022, the insurance management program is transitioning from UHS to the Enterprise Risk Department. As a result, the Enterprise Risk Department will be the primary contact for all insurance-related matters, including Contract Reviews, Certificates of Insurance, Vehicle & Driver Updates, Equipment Shipments, Claims Adjudication, and other general insurance inquiries.
