Access to the Emergency Travel Assistance Benefit: Emergency Travel Assistance covers you and your eligible family members for necessary services and supplies while traveling. To be eligible, you and your eligible dependents, must be enrolled in McMaster’s Extended Health Care plan. More information is available in your SunLife Benefit Booklet. |
If travelling for work, check out McMaster’s Travel Safety Program for pre-trip and emergency support: McMaster has partnered with HX Global to provide medical and security support while traveling for work. This program ensures our faculty, staff, and students are healthy, safe, and secure while abroad. Access support for your well-being: For employees who have access, Telus Health offers comprehensive support for mental, physical, social, and financial well-being through the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP). Access support via phone, in-person visits, video, online chat, and self-guided learning. In addition, the Employee Well-Being webpage is full of resources including self-care tips, ways to experience and engage with the Hamilton community. |
