McMaster’s Travel Safety Program
As part of McMaster University’s commitment to our travelers, we are pleased to announce we have invested in medical and security assistance through HX Global. This program is designed to keep our faculty, staff and students healthy, safe and secure while they are travelling or living abroad within a McMaster capacity. HX Global provides international risk management, security services, and emergency assistance across the globe 24/7/365. This program is not a benefit program.
Employees with Extended Health benefits coverage who require emergency medical assistance while out-of-province should contact the emergency travel assistance provider first: Global Excel Management (GEM).
More information about emergency travel assistance for employees while out-of-province can be found in your McMaster benefit booklet or through your personal Sun Life account.
