Machinists are employees in the Engineering Machine Shop, Nuclear Instrument Machine Shop and Senior Sciences Instrument Machine Shop, who are highly skilled tradesmen responsible for operating various types of machinery, safely and efficiently. Machinists are represented by The Service Employees’ International Union (SEIU), Local 2.
